Recruiting in full spectrum cycle of physicians and APP’s into (mostly) employed practices in the Central Florida North Market. Conducts research by regularly meeting with leadership and management of the six AdventHealth Hospital campuses and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) to identify the need for additional or replacement providers. Proactively and consistently communicates the recruitment plan, process, and progress of each search with providers and management at the AdventHealth campuses and AdventHealth Medical Group. Maintains a liaison relationship with other AdventHealth Departments and affiliated organizations. Seeks assistance and direction from the Executive Director and appropriate individuals when confronted with issues outside the scope of defined responsibilities. Maintains an understanding of current compensation and compliance requirements as set forth and governed by Adventist Health System Physician Enterprise and Compliance. Regularly meet with the AdventHealth Medical Group finance department to ensure proformas are aligned with the provider strategy and business objectives of the organization as it relates to specific candidates. Helps to organize candidate travel, visits/tours, arranges and sets itineraries for meetings and introductions to appropriate physicians and leaders at a campus level during a provider’s stay. Gains feedback and insight from these same leaders and physicians to help provide a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate. Understands the terms, issues, and items necessary to lead a candidate through the contracting phase. Leads candidate through negotiation process by presenting requested counter terms and/or items to appropriate administration for review and approval. Job Description:

Position Description: Directs, plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of a specialized unit or small department; develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Serves as liaison with university personnel and community at large. Works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Major Essential Functions: Oversees all processes from recruitment to onboarding of new faculty for the TTUHSC School of Medicine. Oversees a process and program for supporting, assisting and coordinating faculty recruitment activities together with TTUHSC SOM clinical departments, department chairs, faculty appointments, and the staff of TTUHSC, UMC, Covenant Executive Staff, and TTUHSC regional campuses. Works cooperatively with department chairs, administrators and search committee members in their recruiting efforts for new faculty. Serves as a key point-of-contact with outside recruiters (i.e. recruiting firms). Assist with recruitment needs such as picking up candidates at the airport, providing tours, making introductions, etc. Participates in conferences, job fairs and physician recruitment opportunity events. Utilizes a tracking system for the faculty recruitment program to assure all aspects of the recruitment process can occur in a timely and professional manner. (e.g. status on candidates’ appointment & credentialing packets, etc.) Tracks, documents, and reports progress to supervisor. Maintains records of visits, appropriate correspondence, and follow-up items. Works with departmental recruiting sources and firms to identify and contact prospective faculty candidates. Ability to maintain and manage outstanding communication with faculty candidates. Oversees and administers the budget. Works with HR, General Counsel and Immigration and Compliance to ensure all items necessary for onboarding of faculty are obtained/completed. Ability to design/develop and maintain advertising for recruitment efforts. Devises and utilizes a system that solicits feedback from department personnel on each faculty recruitment effort. Obtains locum tenens on an as needed basis. Fulfill TTUHSC SOM annual training requirements. Other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with recruitment software/electronic recruitment tools (e.g. PracticeMatch). Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. 10 years progressively responsible experience in physician and/or executive level recruitment.

Conducts focused recruitment sourcing/candidate identification and outreach tactics utilizing a variety of outlets such as healthcare databases, referrals, advertisements, training/residency programs, job fairs, and other social media platforms. Manages targeted email and text marketing campaigns. Participates in targeted local, regional, or national recruitment events such as open house events and professional associations and group meetings.
